Custom Quality Theaters Custom Quality Theaters evolved as a logical extension and integral
part of our original remodeling company,
Custom Quality Construction.
CQC has been serving Boulder County and the surrounding communities since 1993,
and we began building home theaters in 1996. At that time, home entertainment was
usually a VCR and a tube TV, or maybe a large screen, big-box rear-projection unit.
Then stereo TV led to new audio advancements such as Dolby Pro-Logic Surround. Next
came DVD's with improved picture quality and convenience, along with even more rapid
advances in audio quality, and the home theater revolution was under way. As the
technology continues to advance more rapidly, so does the level of enjoyment of having
the theater experience in your own home.
At Custom Quality Theaters we have closely followed all aspects of the home theater evolution, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. We usually begin the process of building your home theater with a free on-site initial consultation. We carefully listen to your ideas, make suggestions for possible layouts using the available space, and work with you to develop a finished design that meets your individual needs and budget. Many of our theaters are done as part of a basement finish or remodel; while others are integrated into an existing finished space. We have built theaters and provided everything from start to finish, while on other projects we have worked as part of a team with an interior designer and a specialized audio/video retailer.
